Vogel and the White Bull
Vogel and the White Bull is the second novel in the Vogel Family Saga. The story opens in the winter of 1992 and the action alternates between Europe and Texas, where Dutch Vogel desperately deals with the disappearance of Egon Krause and the sinister machinations of various American and German political factions.
A distress call from his parents in Texas, detailing the slaughter of his father's prize bull, interrupts his investigation and signals the beginning of new mysteries and dangers threatening the Vogel family.
Vogel travels to Texas and confronts not only his father's dark past as a German soldier in Russia during World War II, but also his mother's family, the sinister and brooding O'Roy clan. Once there, he finds his once Eden like home is menaced and in turmoil. To solve the death of the white bull, both Vogel and his father begin a quest to unravel the mysteries of their past.
